What is the Order of 1949
The premier ANNUAL club of sustaining members of the DMAA.
It provides vital funding for those programs deemed crucial to the
on-going success and preservation of the Delta Mu Chapter.
Why join the Order of 1949?
- Network with fellow Pike Alumni from all decades.
- Helps the actives with a rush scholarship fund.
- Funds the annual Alumni Homecoming tail gate party and cook out.
- Funds the Annual Pike Summer Alumni Meeting and Social event.
- Helps the Actives Pay for conferences, training materials, continuing education, minor house repairs and rush events.
- Members are Alumni who have chosen to invest in the future prosperity of the Delta Mu Chapter.
The Annual $200 pledge is an unrestricted tax-deductible gift.

This money helps fund the following:
- Dues to Pike Nationals ($150)
- Website services (Member Planet, Go Daddy) ($300)
- Email Communication services ($500)
- Money Collecting services (Square, PayPal) ($300)
- Accounting Services (QuickBooks) ($300)
- DMAA Annual Membership Meeting in July
- Friday evening catered Social Event (2023 – $2000)
- Saturday Meeting Venue and food. (2023 – $1000)
- USM Homecoming Weekend Food and Drinks
- Chapter Scholarships Chapter House Improvements
- Chapter Continuing Education National Conventions
- Regional Conferences
- Any excess funds will go to the Pike Housing Corp Corpus, that funds the annual Chapter scholarships that’s held in the USM Foundation.
